The most astonishing thing about my results was that I lost weight while consuming the same foods in the exact same amounts, with no exercise involved.

Chewing well involves taking small bites and chewing each bite until it is liquefied. At this critical stage, mastication muscles and teeth grind the food into the smallest possible components. These fragments must then be coated with saliva, our first digestive juice, for further breakdown in the intestine. Thus, the increased surface area of the food we chew facilitates the work of our digestive system and optimises nutrient extraction while aiding in waste disposal.

Chewing habits can be challenging to change, but it is essential to develop this habit to improve digestive health. The major stakeholders in the digestive process, including the mastication muscles, teeth, salivary glands, tongue, lymph vessels, and intestinal villi, are always accessible. As a result, my digestion has improved, I have lost weight, and I live a healthier lifestyle.

The power of Repetitive Chewing

Repetitive chewing is the key to rid yourself of obesity. Repetitive chewing is not a mundane, repetitive, boring action. Chewing food well is a simple task, and you will be surprised to know we are changing the chemistry of the mass of food in the mouth. You see, all foods in farms, supermarkets, restaurants, in the fridge, and the meals you ate today, all the foods have a pH of below seven, i.e. the acidic camp. By utilising the built-in mechanism, repetitive chewing, the mass of food undergoing mastication will gradually raise the pH to above 7. Why is it important to do so? Nature has been telling us to only swallow food in an alkaline state from day 1! How am I sure? Look at newborns and the first meal provided by nature: Breast Milk! Breast milk is the only naturally occurring food for human consumption with a pH above seven. What to do if all foods around us have a pH below seven? Nature again provided us with the ability to raise the pH of any food through mastication, repetitive mastication, or repetitive chewing.
The saliva produced is alkaline. Repetitive chewing eventually rids the mass of food of all acidity and becomes alkaline. Any food chewed well becomes an alkaline meal! Perform a web search on raw and cooked food pH; they all have a pH below seven.

You may have heard of the pH scale, which measures how acidic or alkaline something is. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with seven being neutral. Anything below 7 is acidic, and anything above 7 is alkaline. Our body needs a balanced pH to function properly and avoid diseases. Ideally, our blood should have a pH of around 7.4, which is slightly alkaline.

However, most of the foods we eat today are acidic in nature. Processed foods, meat, dairy, sugar, coffee, alcohol, and some fruits and vegetables have a low pH. When we eat these foods, our body has to work hard to neutralize the excess acidity and maintain a healthy pH balance. This can cause inflammation, fatigue, weight gain, and other health problems.

So, how can we alkalize our bodies and improve our health? One way is to chew our food well.

Chewing is not just a mechanical process of breaking down food into smaller pieces. It is also a chemical process of mixing food with saliva. Saliva is not just an alkaline fluid that helps digest carbohydrates and neutralize acids in food; when we chew our food well, we expose it to more saliva and increase its alkalinity.

By chewing our food well, we also help our stomach and intestines digest it better. This means less gas, bloating, indigestion, and constipation. It also means better absorption of nutrients and less waste.

So how much should we chew our food? There is no definitive answer to this question, as different foods require different amounts of chewing and bite-size! However, a general rule of thumb is to chew each bite until it becomes liquid or loses its texture. This can take anywhere from 40 to 50 chews per bite.

It may seem like a lot of work if you are not used to chewing your food well. But trust me, it is worth it. You will soon notice the benefits of repetitive chewing on your health, happiness and weight line.
The beauty of the repetitive chewing method is that you don’t need to omit certain foods in quantities.

In my case, Obesity was not genetic

I’m the third of four boys. My mother, my uncles, and my grandparents from my mother’s side are all obese. The theory that obesity is genetic fits in well and is somewhat comforting.

At the time of this post, and over the last 6 years, I haven’t gained any weight. By simply chewing my food properly; 50 chews per bite, o every snack, every meal of every day. I find it mind-boggling that everyone in my family is reluctant to even try this method despite my weight loss and achievements. Their own eyes have seen me transform into an obese-free person!

If you’re like me, you may have struggled with obesity for much of your life, with no explanation as to why. For years, I assumed my weight issues were a consequence of genetics—I simply had no control over my own body. But I was wrong.

After years of struggling to get my weight under control, I finally decided to look into the reasons why I was overweight. Through my research, I discovered that my obesity was not genetic, but rather the result of lifestyle choices.

I realized that the food I was eating, the lack of physical activity, and the stress I was enduring all played a role in the weight gain I was experiencing. It was no longer a matter of genetics, but rather a combination of factors.

I began to make healthier choices with my diet, I started exercising regularly, and I began to find ways to reduce stress in my life. It took a while, but I eventually started to see results. I lost a significant amount of weight and felt better than ever.

If you’re struggling with obesity, I want you to know that it’s not an inevitable consequence of genetics. You can take control of your health and make the necessary changes to achieve the results you want. Don’t let genetics be an excuse for not improving your health.

Hello! Today we are going to talk about something very important for our bodies: the acid-alkaline balance.

Do you know what it means? It’s how much acid and how much alkaline there is in our bodies.

Acids and alkalis are two different things. Acids are sour and make things taste bad. Alkalis are the opposite of acids and make things taste sweet.

Our bodies need both acids and alkalis to stay healthy and strong. Our bodies need a delicate balance between the two.

When our bodies have too much acid, it can make us feel tired or have a headache. Too much alkaline can also make us feel unwell.

So, keeping a balanced amount of acid and alkaline is important. We can do this by eating the right foods.

Fruits and vegetables like apples, oranges, broccoli, and spinach are all alkaline foods. Eating these can help keep our bodies in balance.

On the other hand, foods like meat and dairy products are acid-forming foods. Eating too much of these can make our bodies too acidic.

So, eating a balanced diet of alkaline and acid-forming foods is important. Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables every day can help us keep a healthy balance of acid and alkaline in our bodies.

Remember, keeping our bodies in balance with the right amount of acid and alkaline is important. Eating the right kinds of foods can help us do this.
